A Casey County man died in a late-night house fire last week.
Firefighters responded to the call around 11pm Thursday night, to a home on Ridgecrest Drive near Liberty.
The coroner says the man who lives there, 78-year-old DeWayne Whited, was found dead.

Firefighters were on the scene until about 3 Friday morning.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
