Under road business the salt bid was awarded to Morton Salt at a rate of $129.29 per ton.

Under jail business the magistrates voted to authorize Judge Executive Randy Dial to sign a state contract for the jail. Under miscellaneous business the magistrates voted to authorize Sheriff Chad Weddle to apply for another cruiser grant.

The court went into executive session for about a half an hour to discuss possible real estate acquisition and litigation. No action was taken.
