Liberty City Council met in special session Thursday to discuss the budget, and a payroll tax.

After nearly two hours of discussion, the Council passed a 1st Reading of a 1% Occupational Tax.

A 2nd Reading will be held at another special called meeting today at 6pm at City Hall.
