Liberty City Council held a special called meeting yesterday with two items on the agenda.

First, to appoint a new Council member to fill the seat vacated by Andy Lawhorn, who resigned following the last regular meeting. That item was tabled so that the Council may interview prospective candidates at another special meeting, tentatively set for Wednesday, May 4th at 6pm.

The second item on the agenda was to advertise for bids for video work on the City's sewer lines...

The motion was approved.

Again, the Council will host another special meeting next week, and hopes to have a new Councilperson in place before the next regular meeting, which will be Monday, May 9th.
