The owner of several local country stores has been arrested for gambling violations.

In a joint effort between the Casey County Sheriff's Office, Liberty Police Department, and Casey County Constable, search warrants were executed at three locations; Crockett Trail, Sallies I (Valero), and Sallies II (arcade). 

A total of 19 gambling machines were seized between the three locations, along with large amounts of cash, and other gambling related items. 

37 year old Jitendrakumar (Jack) Patel, of Liberty, is charged with 3 counts of possession of a gambling device and 3 counts of promoting gambling 1st degree.

Mr. Patel was transported to the Casey County Jail.
