A Fayette County man was arrested over the weekend in connection with some counterfeit goods.
On Friday, Boyle County Sheriff’s Office along with HSI conducted an investigation involving counterfeit merchandise arriving at J.E. Woods in Danville. During the investigation Chad Martin of Lexington claimed ownership of over $10,000 in counterfeit merchandise that originated from Turkey.
Martin was transported to the Boyle County Jail.
He's charged with Prohibited Commerce Counterfeit Goods & Services > 25 items, 1st items, 1st off (enhancement). Captain Casey McCoy leads the investigation.
