A report of a suspicious person resulted in a Liberty man being arrested on drug charges.

Officers responded to the call shortly before 9am Wednesday. They found 36 year old Brian Noel on Montgomery Street, sitting in front of the Casey County Hospital.  Mr. Noel failed 3 field sobriety tests.

He told officers he had used Methamphetamine 3 days prior. An empty syringe was found in his back pack.

Noel was placed under arrest on charges of Public Intoxication of a Controlled Substance, & Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

He was lodged in the Casey County Jail.
